What is Cellulite and Can We Combat It?
Cellulite is no one's friend. Anyone that has cellulite, or the dimpling of the skin on the thighs, rear end, and even the lower leg area, knows that it is embarrassing and unsightly. And they no doubt want to get rid of it!

Cellulite is basically fat that is sticking out into the dermis from lower layers in the skin. It gives that dimpled look, sometimes known as a "cottage cheese" appearance, to the skin. Nearly all women (85-98%) have some amount of cellulite on their bodies. It is more common in white females, and it also seems to have some type of hormonal factor about it, because men rarely become afflicted with it.

Cellulite, however, is not a symptom of being overweight. Average-sized and even underweight individuals can have cellulite. The exact cause of it is not known, unfortunately. There are some theories that suggest that it could be diet-related, and that eating foods high in trans fats, and foods like pasta and white bread products can cause cellulite to appear.

As you would expect, there are many so-called remedies on the market that claim to reduce or eliminate altogether. Lotions, gels, and even pills are sold en masse by cosmetics companies to consumers every year. The fact is, though, that there is no real proof that any of these "remedies" do anything to remove cellulite. Even liposuction, which is the surgical removal of fat from the body, cannot combat cellulite!

There are some types of massage that might help to reduce the appearance of cellulite temporarily. Because it is a subcutaneous fat, meaning it is located just under the skin, it has no blood vessels. Massage often helps to improve circulation just under the skin, thus smoothing out the skin's surface. This temporarily reduces the appearance of cellulite, but does not get rid of it.

What seems to help the battle with cellulite is to follow a generally healthy lifestyle. Eat a well-balanced diet, drink a lot of water every day, and exercise regularly. Even though you can't fight Mother Nature, you can give her a really hard time, and you might find that the cellulite that has plagued you will reduce in appearance, and even go away to some degree!

Facial Exercise to Look Young
Facial exercise is the only way to keep your face the way it was when you were young. Imagine yourself sitting on a couch in your own home watching a DVD with men and women exercising continuously to music. They are happy because they are getting their faces and necks in shape with aerobic exercise. Aerobic exercise is the continual movement for a period of time (twenty minutes). By using your hands for resistance you build the muscles even larger. Larger muscles stretch the skin and rid your face of the wrinkles. It also takes the stretched sagging out of the muscle therefore raising the skin back to its more youthful position. By exercising continuously you push blood and oxygen into all the cells repairing and building stronger cells.

Did you know that it has been shown that within the first 15 seconds of meeting you that person has formed an opinion of you based on how you look? It's sad buy true. What do you think was the first thing they saw when they looked at you? Your face and neck. Your looks can send your life forward or backward. It can help you get a job or lose one. It can start a relationship or end one. There is no need to spend any unnecessary money on laser, shots, and surgery. As long as you work it you will look young. Remember use it or lose it!

Losing your youthful good looks can start as early as 20 years of age. Our bodies start to age as soon as we are born but we never see inside until later in life when something breaks. It doesn't matter what your age. Face and Neck Aerobics will help change you!

The 7 Best Deodorants For Excessive Sweating
When I first tried to combat my excessive sweating, I got nowhere. I'd walk into the local pharmacy and buy up every antiperspirant I could find off the rack only to be disappointed with my results days later. It was a painful cycle of trial and error and I remember, after the ninth or tenth brand of deodorant I tried, I started to think there was just no product out there that could solve my sweating.

Anyway, it took some time but I'm here to tell you that there ARE products out there that work. And after much exploration and testing, this article will show you the 7 best deodorants for excessive sweating, giving you fast and effective results.

After all my failures buying up the shelves at my local drugstore, I finally wised up and spoke candidly with my dermatologist about my excessive sweating woes. She told me I suffered from a fairly common condition called Hyperhidrosis. It caused me to sweat uncontrollably from the hands, armpits, face and feet no matter what temperature I was exposed to.

The reason the average store brand deodorants weren't being effective was because they didn't contain enough of the active sweat stopping ingredient, Aluminum Chloride.

This is pretty important for you to know...

Aluminum Chloride is the active ingredient which blocks your pores from sweating profusely.
Although there are numerous options for excessive sweating sufferers, the first one your should learn about is choosing the right deodorant.

Here I'll be giving you the 7 best deodorants for excessive sweating that packed just enough punch to get my perspiration under control. Bear in mind, most of them can be applied to your hands and feet as well as your armpits to minimize the sweating. I also mention specific facial sweating deodorants as well.

1. Certain Dri - This is the weakest of the 7 deodorants in the list. However, it is a crucial first step. You don't want to just grab the strongest antiperspirant off the shelf when you're starting out or you'll end up with irritated skin in no time. Certain Dri contains 12% Aluminum Chloride and is considered clinical strength. It's a great first step when escalating to a stronger solution.

2. Drysol - This prescription strength deodorant usually requires your Dermatologist's approval but there are online stores where you can get it without the inconvenient doctor's note requirement. Drysol contains a whopping 20% Aluminum Chloride and starts working after the first application. It's not like regular deodorant though. You only apply Drysol once a night before bedtime. During the day, you may not want to apply a regular deodorant as irritation can occur with such a powerful topical in place.

3. Deodorite - DeodoRite is a 100% safe and effective internal natural remedy for treating the underlying causes of body odor. The formula has been specially manufactured to improve the elimination of toxins from the body, promote healthy liver functioning and reduce excessive perspiration. It's not a regular topical like most deodorants. You take it orally and it goes to work (Again, safely) regulating the toxins out of your body and decreasing your overall sweating.

4. Maxim Facial Wipes - These are a facial sweating sufferers best friend. Maxim wipes are convenient wipes that contain topical deodorant mild enough to apply to your face. Just wipe them all over your face and the astringent goes to work, blocking sweat pores and solving your problem fast. I loved the results using these things.

5. Secure Wipes - If Maxim wipes aren't doing the trick for you, then Secure Wipes are your best bet for facial sweating. They come in degrees of strength with their medicine ranging from 1% - 4%. There are two warnings though with Secure Wipes. First, if you choose too strong a formula, you will have redness, rash and irritation occur. Start with 2% if Maxim Wipes don't work for you and then scale up from there. Secondly, they are a bit more expensive than the Maxim Wipes but you get your money's worth. The results are tangible.

6. Driclor - This is a strong beast of a deodorant. Although it contains the same level of Aluminum Chloride as Drysol (20%), many people claim it dries them out where Drysol won't. Here's a very honest review. The itching, soreness, stinging and dry rash that I got were all terrible. You have to grit your teeth through the discomfot to get the results. That said, it definitely works!

7. Odaban - I saved one of my favorites for last. Odaban is less abrasive than Drysol and Driclor. Plus, you can apply it to your face in small doses. It's a topical that comes in spray for (Drysol and Driclor are roll-on topicals). Somehow, I found that is conditioned my body to stop sweating rather than shocking it into submission. You'll need to use it for a week to feel the optimal effects.

Baking Soda Cures For Sweating
There are TONS of baking soda cures out there. Baking soda is used for everything. It puts out fires, it cleans your teeth, it cleans dishes, it cleans clothes, it gets rid of smells and yes... it even discourages sweating!

Here's my quick, disclaimer for those of you out there with severe hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). Baking soda is not some magical cure-all. However, when used properly, you'll TOTALLY feel a difference. I'm going to give you a couple of baking soda cures for sweating that you'll definitely find useful.

First, let me just really quickly explain why baking soda helps eliminate sweating so effectively...

WHY IT WORKS - Baking soda is an alkaline and your body's sweat is an acid. When the two combine, gas is formed, causing the instant evaporation of the sweat.

So, it's not that baking soda blocks the sweat from escaping your pores. Instead, it conditions your skin to quickly dry up as soon as the sweating begins.

When you apply the baking soda cures for sweating below, it's the residue of the baking soda on the skin that conditions the dryness. The treatments work way better if you apply them consecutively for days on end so be consistent about it.

Baking Soda for Hand Sweating:

1. You'll want to fill up a big bowl or two separate aluminum pie pans with warm/hot water and equal parts baking soda. The solution should be very cloudy. The baking soda will gather at the bottom, so be sure to mix it up very thoroughly.

2. Soak your hands for 25 minutes in the solution. It's important that the water is warm or hot so your pores really open up. You want the baking soda to penetrate your skin. During that time, intermittenly grab the clumps of baking soda at the bottom of the pan or bowl and rub your hands together to really saturate them in the solution.

3. After the 25 minutes are up, your hands will be a little pruney - this is totally normal. Just dry them off with a towel. Don't wash them off with soap and water if possible. You want to retain the residue of baking soda on your skin. Some people say they have a light powerdy look to the skin after drying them off. The more residue of the solution, the better your results will be.

Here's what you should expect from the treatment above...

Your hands will definitely feel dry the first 30 minutes after treatment and results should last at least a couple of hours following. If you use this remedy consecutively for 5 days straight, the results can last up to 5 or 6 hours on end.

It's normal for the skin to feel a tiny bit rubbery directly after treatment. You'll see what I mean when you try it. Anyway, the goal is to keep them dry, so I'm sure that small side effect won't bother you.

This cure for hand sweating works best for people with less severe cases of hyperhidrosis although EVERYONE will find some benefit.

If you're about to go on a date or have an intimate night planned with your significant other, this treatment makes an awesome quick fix.

This next treatment I recommend for ANYONE. It's well worth trying out.

Baking soda is well known for its odor eliminating effects. That's because it neutralizes acids and odor causing bacteria in the body. This makes it a perfect bath additive to really give you a wonderful, fresh and dry feeling right out of the tub.

Let me tell you, I never used to take baths in my adult life. I was always a shower kinda guy. Besides, who has the time for a bath?

Well, speaking from a very positive experience using the following treatment, you NEED to make time for a "Baking Soda Bath Blast" at least once a week.

Since implementing this tactic, my overall body sweating halted drastically.
Have you ever taken a shower and started sweating the moment you got out and began drying off? It's terribly frustrating, right?

Well, you'll never have that happen to you with a "Baking Soda Bath Blast". The treatment will keep you super dry from the moment you step out of the tub. I love it! Plus, baths are just a relaxing experience overall. Here's how it goes...

The Baking Soda Bath Blast:

1. This treatment works best if you schedule it AFTER a shower. This way you get clean with soap and water first, then you'll just soak your already clean body in the baking soda solution without needing to wash it off with soap.

2. While you're in the shower, use a loofah (dry sponge) to exfoliate your skin. Exfoliate your hands, feet, armpits or anywhere else you sweat profusely from. You're going to do this to allow the baking soda to penetrate your pores more efficiently. Next, you'll be taking the bath.

3. Fill a bath with warm water (not exceptionally hot) and add 1/2 - 1 cup of baking soda to the tub.

4. Soak for 15 - 20 minutes and make sure to grab any clumps of baking soda gathered at the bottom of the tub, rubbing it into your armpits, hands, feet, chest or back.

Give these two treatments a fair shot. That means at least 5 consecutive days of trying this out. You'll body will need to acclimate itself to the baking soda before feeling the best results.
