Car Rental
Alamo Car Rental is the official car rental company for the 2001 Annual Meeting and Exposition. These rates are available one week prior to, the week of, and one week after the AAPS Annual Meeting and Exposition and include unlimited free mileage. Rental rates are limited — call early.

Ground Transportation

The Regional Transportation District (RTD) runs buses throughout the city and suburbs and a light rail leg in the downtown area. Local buses and the light rail operate on many routes downtown and cost $1.25 during peak times and $.75 at off peak times. Airport Service
There are various taxis and shuttle services available to and from the Denver International Airport. There is a fee involved for each service, which is the responsibility of each individual.

Shuttle buses are provided by many of the hotels, so check with your hotel to see if they operate a shuttle from the airport. Also, there are commuter shuttle services that operate out of the Denver International Airport. Commuter shuttle services cost approximately $15 from the airport to the downtown area. AAPS Special Services
Shuttle bus service will be available from the Colorado Convention Center to the Denver International Airport on Thursday, October 25 for $5. Payment will be accepted on-site at the Tour Desk located in the Registration Area at the Convention Center.

Taxi Service
Taxis can be hailed outside the baggage claim area at the Airport. In the downtown area, it is possible to find taxis, but it’s suggested to call for a taxi ahead of time, especially on weekend nights. Five taxi companies service Greater Denver:
