AAPS Exposition Announces Record Breaking Year
ARLINGTON, Va.
- The American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) announced
another record year for its 2001 Annual Meeting and Exposition, Oct. 21-25 at
the Colorado Convention Center in Denver. The 2001 exposition will set a new
record in regards to both number of exhibitors and booths. More than 500
companies have purchased in excess of 900 booths.
"The AAPS exposition continues to expand with seven percent more booths than
last year and 19 percent more than 1999," said Grace Jones, AAPS Senior
Manager, Expos and Registration. "The AAPS exposition continues to grow as
companies pass on the word that AAPS delivers the top pharmaceutical scientists
from around the world. Our best advertising comes from our exhibitors."
In 1999,
Tradeshow Week
named the AAPS Exposition one of the top five fastest-growing medical
tradeshows. Several key pharmaceutical and scientific corporations will be
using this year's meeting to make major product and company announcements.
"The Annual Meeting and Exposition is absolutely 'the' event for the research
and development community in the pharmaceutical industry," said exhibitor
Allison Millard, Manager, Business Development, University Pharmaceuticals of
Maryland, Inc. "It's the one place to be each year that I would not miss."
Approximately 8,000 attendees from close to 40 countries are expected to attend
this year's meeting. Potential registrants can preview the exposition by
