Richard Lawson Named AAPS Director
of Technology
ARLINGTON, Va.
- American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists' (AAPS) Executive Director
John "Jack" B. Cox announced that Richard Lawson has been promoted to director
of the technology department at AAPS.
Lawson will oversee all computer and information systems for the association.
Lawson previously served as senior manager, publishing & technology at AAPS,
where he was instrumental in the recent launch of AAPS' Internet portal for
pharmaceutical scientists, AAPS Pharmaceutica.
Prior to AAPS, Lawson worked as an eBusiness consultant for Sytel, Inc., where
he developed portal strategies for the company's product offerings. He also
served as a lead programmer for Camber Corporation, spearheading strategy to
develop database-driven interactive websites for the U.S. Army and other
government agencies.
