VELMA HART JOINS AAPS AS SENIOR DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

AAPS Executive Director John B. Cox announced that Velma R. Hart, CAE has joined AAPS as Senior Director of Operations.
Hart will oversee the day-to-day operations of the association. In this position she will also direct the association's membership and information central functions.
"AAPS is very fortunate to acquire an individual with Ms. Hart's strong leadership, supervisory and team-building skills," said Cox. |
Hart formerly served as Senior Staff for Finance and Administration at the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) in Alexandria, Va. She brings more than 17 years of association experience to her new position.
Hart serves on the Nominating Committee of the Finance and Administration Council for the American Society of Association Executives.
