WHAT:

Pharmaceutical Congress of the Americas (PCA) is a groundbreaking
event that unites pharmaceutical scientists from North, Central and South
America to share knowledge and discuss the future of the pharmaceutical
sciences in the Americas. Pharmaceutical scientists attending PCA represent
scientific and professional areas associated with research, pharmacy practice,
health care public policy and drug regulatory standards.
Dr. Oscar Arias, President and Founder of the Fundación
Arias para el Paz y el Progreso Humano, former President of Costa Rica,
and winner of the 1987 Nobel Peace Prize, will deliver the keynote address.
Dr. Arias’ address will focus on the impact of pharmaceutical research
on human health in the Americas. Attendees will participate in sessions
on pharmaceutical care, pharmaceutical technology, clinical pharmacology,
quality assurance, natural products, drug interactions, quality control,
analytical validation, and many other various topics.
The Exposition Hall will host more than 100 exhibitors covering
all aspects of pharmaceutical science.
Pharmaceutical Congress of the Americas is co-sponsored by
Asociación Farmacéutica Mexicana, Canadian Society for Pharmaceutical
Sciences, Federación Farmacéutica Sudamericana, Federación Farmacéutica
Centroamericana y del Caribe, Federación Panamericana de Farmacia, International
Pharmaceutical Federation, and Pan American Health Organization.
